Oh my goodness. This wedding has held a special place in my heart. I have known Mikelle for a few years now. When she contacted me about being her wedding photographer...I was totally 100% honored! Mikelle made me feel so special, her words-if I remember them correctly were..."I didn't even have to look around for photographer, I knew that you were the one for me" (or something along those lines) lol All I remember is shedding actual tears during our consultation because this girl made me feel so special.
The entire day was literally perfect. And the weather...holy moly. It was incredible! We couldn't have asked for better weather in the beginning of August. There was a cool breeze right when we starting taking photos. And only a little bit of rain in the beginning of the day, but that made for some pretty awesome portraits ;)
Also, can we talk about Philips reaction to Mikelle walking down the isle?! Y'all, I lost it. It was the sweetest thing I have ever seen. I was ugly crying right along with him-and having to wipe my eyes quickly so I could continue snapping away. haha. And I just have to say, that wasn't the only time I may have teared up a bit.
I know I say this a lot, but its because it true-for every single wedding I am a part of...But I really do feel so blessed and honored to have been Philip + Mikelles wedding photographer, and friend. I do have to say, these are some of my fav images of all time, and I wouldn't be able to say that without the trust that these two have put in me.
ok, I could ramble on and on.. but Ill let the photos do the rest of talking.
Philip + Mikelle, thank you both so so sooo much for allowing me to be apart of such a special day. I pray blessings upon your marriage! Love you both!
